FAQ Regarding the Virtual CIO Plan

My systems are working ok, why do I need a service plan?
Imagine someone coming in and removing all of your computers. How would you conduct business? How much money would you lose? Without proper mainenece, an IT plan and a trusted advisor to call in the event something does go wrong, you’re seriously increasing the odds of that happening.

Think of it this way, do you only call your attorney when you get sued? Do you only use an accountant if you get audited? No, you use these people to help you run your business the right way. That’s what we can do for your systems.

One of my employees is pretty good at computers and seems to be able to do most of the needed repairs.
Its great to have an “internal guru” to help with some of the daily tasks or to reboot a server. We actually encourage it. But this person was hired to do another job, and cannot spend the time researching and implementing updates and upgrades. And he doesn’t have the expertise to. Let her get back to the job you hired her for, and let us worry about the computer systems.

In addition, we are happy to assist companies that already have some IT staff. We can provide supplemental support for large projects or rollouts, vacation support (yes, your IT guy deserves a vacation now and then), and act as a resource in areas where your IT staff may lack experience.

What types of small businesses do you service?
We are happy to support companies in any industry. Our current roster of clients includes attorneys, doctor offices, restaurants, accountants, recruiting firms and non-profits. Our clients tend to have 5-25 computers and either have a server, or are planning on putting one in.

What will all of this cost my company?
We are happy to have our CTO come out to your offices to do a FREE evaluation of your needs and give you a proposal for services. Remember, with the Virtual CIO plan, its like having your own IT staff, at a fraction of the cost.
