About Us

PC Plumber®, Inc. is an Illinois Corporation formed in October 2001.

Our call center hours are from 9 am - 5 PM Monday-Friday. Voicemail and email are checked for emergencies everyday, and Virtual CIO contract clients have a special emergency number to call in case of true emergency.

PC Plumber®, Inc. is headed by Vicki Burke, a 10 year veteran of the information technology field. Her experience in a high demand atmosphere such as William Blair & Company prepared her well for understanding the needs of both the individual user and the corporate IT environment. Ms. Burke is also a licensed attorney, and worked in academic computing while in law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Burke was a high-school teacher.

Steve Burke, CTO, has been working in computers since 1991. His technical expertise range from hardware repair to complex web development. He was the Director of Internet Development at the nonprofit CALI (Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction) for 7 years, where his duties included everything from building servers, to managing the website and complex databases. His biggest strength in information technology is his superior planning and troubleshooting skills - consistently essential in computer repair - and his research skills. Mr. Burke is also a licensed attorney, graduating from Chicago-Kent
